Jill took up her new role earlier last week, while Ian’s appointment will take effect from 1st February 2018.
Both will also join the audit, nomination and executive directors’ remuneration committees.
Jill is a non-executive director of Northgate PLC, chair of its remuneration committee and a member of its audit and risk committee and nominations committee.
She has extensive sales, marketing and general management experience from her time at blue-chip companies including Mars, PepsiCo and Premier Foods.

Jill was previously general manager of a Premier Foods division and runs her own sales and marketing consultancy.
Ian has been chief financial officer of Amec Foster Wheeler PLC since 2008.
He previously served as finance and strategy director of the Inntrepreneur Pub Company Limited from 1995 to 1998, before working at Scottish & Newcastle PLC from 1998 to 2008, first as finance director of Scottish Courage and later as group finance director of Scottish & Newcastle PLC.
He is a non-executive director of Britvic PLC and was a non-executive director of Premier Foods PLC from July 2004 to April 2013.
